Jane and Finch was the our pilot opportunity. Thanks Serena. There were many things to learn from this experience. It was clear from these sessions that the children will embrace the opportunity to express themselves - contemplative, deliberate, prolific, energy, energy, energy. Greg Greene took time out from his pressing project (he talks about it here) to capture some of the activities along with our own digital moments. Stephanie, Kate, Lisa gave them power over their pencils and the stories abounded, while Sarindar made the paint fly - colour, confidence, dynamism and curiosity - what could be better? It confirmed what we know, that the children's eyes and minds are wide open. Given the permission and the time to show you what they can create out of what they see, hear and think, there will be insightful observations and enlightened thoughts for everyone to delight in. “Every child is an artist.
